For the eighth year running, OSA is taking part in the annual Night of the Museums festival in Budapest, on Saturday June 22, 2013.
From 4 pm until 12:30 pm, our doors will be open and visitors can explore our current exhibition, Végképp eltörölni.../Never shall tradition's chains bind us, in our ground-floor Galeria Centralis.
From 5 pm until 12:30 am, we offer hourly guided tours of our archive, and our current exhibition. Guided tours are offered in Hungarian and also, on request, in English. Visitors will also be welcome to take a look at our research room, and take part in a quiz.
In our research room, there will also be screenings of documentary films about the present government's "culture policy", and the worthlessness of culture.
Visitors can enter all participating institutions around the city by purchasing a wristband, which costs HUF 1,500 for adults, and HUF 600 for children. Entrance is free for children under the age of six.
Further details on the festival are available in Hungarian at the Múzeumok Éjszakája (Night of the Museums) website.
