Chronicles of 2013 – Public Service, Single-handedly
In Hungary today, neither the public media nor commercial television channels give a full account of events. Street demonstrations, court trials and other important events are presented out of context, or not presented at all, depending on the political adherence or self-censorship of the given channel. Luckily, for the present day public and future researchers, the obsessive documentary film maker Ádám Csillag films every single important event, regardless of the hardships involved. This evening we look back over the public events in 2013 by screening a selection of documentary footage filmed and compiled by Csillag himself.
The screening is free of charge.
Should you wish to support Csillag's documentary activities in 2014, you will be able to donate on the evening.
